Grievance Redressal Policy
How to raise and escalate privacy, booking, payment, community, conduct and technical complaints.
Effective date: 4 August 2026
XTribe provides a structured process for privacy, consumer, payment, booking, community, safety, conduct, accessibility and technical grievances. The operational point of contact is the XTribe Customer Support & Grievance Desk.
1. Submit a grievance
Use the Contact page, select the closest topic and provide accurate contact information. A successful submission creates a public support reference beginning with “XTC”. Keep it for follow-up.
2. Information to include
- Your name and the email or mobile associated with the booking or account.
- The order, event, profile, content, message, rating or support reference involved.
- What happened and the outcome requested.
- Relevant dates, screenshots, payment references or evidence.
- Any immediate safety, privacy or accessibility concern.
3. Acknowledgement and resolution target
XTribe aims to acknowledge a grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. Complex investigations, payment reconciliation or third-party information may require longer; where possible, the support record will explain the status.
4. Urgent safety
During an event, contact the host, authorised staff, venue security or emergency services as appropriate. Do not wait for the online process where someone faces immediate danger or urgent medical need.
5. Privacy requests
For access, correction, deletion, consent or account closure, select privacy and provide enough information to verify identity. Additional verification may be required before information is disclosed or changed.
6. Moderation appeals
Identify the content or decision challenged and explain why it should be reconsidered. Include new context or evidence.
7. Booking and payment grievances
Include the order reference, payment reference, amount, date and event. Refund requests are assessed under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and event-specific terms.
8. Escalation
If the response does not address the issue, reply using the same support reference and ask for escalation. This process does not prevent use of a statutory consumer, data-protection, law-enforcement or court remedy available to you.
9. Current development contact
Development placeholder: The current interim grievance contact is the Interim XTribe Grievance Officer at admin@xtribe.in. A verified officer name, correspondence address and telephone must replace this before production launch.
10. Records and misuse
Grievance records may be retained for resolution, audit, safety, legal compliance and dispute management. Abusive, threatening, repetitive or knowingly false submissions may be restricted while genuine complaints remain protected.
